Founded in 1869 in Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture, Shimizu Seizaburo Shoten was established by Seizaburo Shimizu. Blessed with clear water from the Suzuka Mountains and high-quality rice from the fertile Ise fields, the brewery was created under ideal natural conditions for sake brewing. Today, it continues to craft refined sake that reflects its local terroir and long-standing tradition.
