Sake Matsuri 2022
On 25 June 2022, the Sake Matsuri Festival was held at UE Square for the purpose of promoting appreciation for sake through culture, craftsmanship, and lifestyle. Certified sommeliers were present to educate guests on the unique methods of Japanese brewers and introduce them to some of their best sake. Over 1000 guests attended the event, Sakeya dedicated to the presentation of nine different sakes for tasting.

Four Hands Dinner at MAG'S 12 July
An unforgettable dining experience collaboration between Michelin-starred TAGETSU from Tokyo and Michelin Plate 2021 MAG'S Kitchen. From 4th July to 12th July make an online purchase any sake at Sakeya to enter the prize draw. Two lucky winners was chosen and awarded a sake pairing dinner for one worth over $400, at "MAG'S Kitchen" on July 12th, 2023.
Successful Sake and North Indian Food Pairing Dinner 27 April 2024 🍶🍛
The much-anticipated sake and North Indian food pairing dinner led by the esteemed Master Sommelier Joshua Kalinan was an overwhelming success, leaving attendees in awe of the flavorful experience. Hosted at Tandoor, Singapore's most awarded Indian restaurant, the collaboration between the brewery owner and Joshua himself delighted the taste buds of all present.
The carefully curated selection of sakes from the renowned Katsuyama Sake Brewery, with a legacy dating back to 1688, beautifully complemented the bold spices and rich textures of North Indian cuisine. Each sake was expertly matched with a dish from Tandoor's celebrated menu, creating an exquisite dining journey for the guests.
Highlights of the evening included the vibrant Samosa Corn Chat paired with the refreshing Katsuyama KEN, the comforting Soup harmonized with Katsuyama EN, and the delicious Kebab balanced by the elegance of Katsuyama REN. The main course and dessert were also expertly paired, showcasing the versatility and complexity of sake when paired with intricate Indian flavors.
The event, held on 27 April 2024, at 7:00 PM, was a true celebration of culinary craftsmanship and cultural fusion. Guests raved about the exceptional pairings and the educational insights provided by Joshua Kalinan throughout the evening.
