Akiu Heart Rock Sake “Uma Tou Seikou” 2026 is a limited-edition Japanese sake created to celebrate the Year of the Horse, a rare Hinoe-Uma year that occurs once every 60 years. This commemorative sake is crafted in a smooth, balanced, and easy-drinking style, making it ideal for gifting, celebrations, and auspicious occasions.

Inspired by the heart-shaped rock at Raireikyo Gorge in Akiu, Sendai, the Heart Rock emblem symbolises sincerity, strength, and good fortune. The name 「馬到成功」 expresses the wish for swift success and positive momentum, making it especially meaningful for Chinese New Year, business gifting, and new beginnings.

Brewed as part of the Akiu Heart Rock Sake craft project by the Izawa father-and-son brewers, with production at Asakan Sake Brewery in Miyagi Prefecture, this sake presents a modern and approachable profile suitable for both beginners and experienced drinkers.
